Plant
electrical.

Generator step-up, auxiliary distribution, and pulsed-power interfaces for magnet and heating systems — ride-through design keeps the plant stable through grid transients and plasma events alike.

From generator to grid
SYSTEM 01

Generator step-up

Net output steps up to transmission voltage at the fence. The interface has to satisfy the interconnect study before it satisfies anyone else.

345 kV
Grid tie
SYSTEM 02

Auxiliary distribution

Cryoplant, pumps, vacuum, and I&C all draw from house power. Aux load is a real fraction of gross and has to be engineered, not estimated.

120 MW
Aux load
SYSTEM 03

Ride through the transient

Pulsed magnet and heating loads plus grid disturbances mean the electrical system must ride through events that would trip a conventional plant.

Keep the lights on.

Electrical supervision is part of the same operating layer — not a separate island of automation.
