Naval platform
BoP
specification.

Naval balance of plant carries every commercial requirement plus survivability, damage control, and a crew with other duties. Scope here is plant systems only.

DESIGN TARGET · NOT MEASURED PERFORMANCE

Figures on this page are engineering design targets and reference-architecture values, not measured results from operating hardware. They state what the design is being engineered to achieve. Verified performance data will replace them as systems are built and tested. Nothing here should be relied upon as a performance warranty.

Design basis
POWER

Generation and distribution

Generation, distribution, and load management for a platform whose demand changes fast and without notice.

COOLING

Thermal management

Chilled water and thermal management for machinery and mission loads, supervised against a moving thermal budget.

DAMAGE CONTROL

Zone-aware supervision

Plant supervision that understands zone isolation and casualty state, so the operator picture stays coherent when the plant is reconfigured under stress.

BOUNDARY

Not the combat system

Weapons, sensors, and combat direction are explicitly out of scope. We interface at the plant boundary and remain there. Mission-system integration stays with the mission-system integrator.

Interfaces and boundaries

Interfaces machinery control and electrical distribution at defined boundaries. This capability is offered as plant-systems engineering. Any classified or program-specific work would follow the applicable security and contracting framework.
