SPECIFICATION · HYPERSONIC TRACKING

Track formation
and fusion.

Correlating sparse observations from a distributed field into a single track with quantified uncertainty, fast enough for the result to have decision value.

DESIGN TARGET · NOT MEASURED PERFORMANCE

Figures on this page are engineering design targets and reference-architecture values, not measured results from operating hardware. They state what the design is being engineered to achieve. Verified performance data will replace them as systems are built and tested. Nothing here should be relied upon as a performance warranty.

Design basis
ASSOCIATION

Observation to track

Associating detections across widely separated nodes against a manoeuvring target is the core algorithmic problem.

UNCERTAINTY

Quantified, not implied

Every track carries an explicit uncertainty estimate. A confident-looking track with unstated error is worse than no track.

LATENCY

Decision-relevant timing

A track delivered after the decision window has closed has no value. Latency is a hard requirement rather than a performance goal.

DEGRADATION

Graceful under loss

Node loss degrades track quality progressively rather than collapsing the picture.
