SPECIFICATION · HPC COMPUTE

Direct liquid
cooling.

Air cooling runs out well before current accelerator density does. Direct liquid cooling is specified as the primary thermal path, with the facility loop designed around it from the start.

REFERENCE ARCHITECTURE · PROPOSAL

This describes a proposed reference architecture. It is not a shipping product and no vendor partnership is claimed or implied. Interfaces and standards conformance are specification intent; quantities are design targets.

Design basis
PRIMARY PATH

Cold plate to node

Heat is removed at the die rather than from room air, which is what permits current and next-generation accelerator density.

FACILITY LOOP

Secondary side

Facility water interfaces the technology loop through a CDU. Approach temperature and flow are specified so the hall can accept warmer supply where recovery is intended.

REDUNDANCY

N+1 on rejection

Cooling loss is a fast-consequence failure for dense compute. Rejection capacity is specified with redundancy and a defined ride-through.

SERVICEABILITY

Field maintainable

Quick-disconnect and drip-free service are requirements, not conveniences. A hall nobody can maintain safely is a stranded asset.

Integration notes

Coolant chemistry, filtration, and materials compatibility are specified at project level. Warm-water operation trades cooling efficiency for recovery potential and is a per-site decision.
